A display of bullet-proof glass, otherwise known as armoured glass, ballistic glass or transparent armour, at the 2015 Paris Air Show. The sample shown is 2.5 inches thick and shows a number of test impacts. Bullet-proof glass is typically constructed in several layers of hard and soft materials so that it deforms rather than breaks when struck. | |
