Lava flow due to Kilauea eruption, February 2008. Kilauea is a volcano on the main island of Hawaii, and is the most active of the Hawaiian volcanoes. This lava flow is from the Puu Oo vent, and is flowing through the forest in the Royal Gardens subdivision of Hawaii. The lava stream is about 3 metres wide. Photographed on 28 February 2008. | |
