Forth Road Bridge. This suspension bridge spans the Firth of Forth estuary in Scotland. The bridge, which is 2512 metres long, links Edinburgh and Fife. The bridge opened in 1964. Due to its deteriorating condition, it will be replaced by a new bridge built alongside, the Queensferry Crossing, currently scheduled to open in July or August 2017. Photographed in September 2016. | |
