Giant Antarctic sea spider (Decolopoda australis). This sea spider grows to up to 30 centimetres in diameter. Individuals have between 10 and 12 legs. It is found in deep Antarctic waters, feeding on sea anemones and sponges. Antarctic waters are high in oxygen, which enables this sea spider to grow to a large size. | |
