Emperor goose (Anser canagicus) on its nest. This goose lays between three and eight eggs,which it incubates for between three and four weeks. The young goslings take around two months to fledge. The emperor goose lives around the coasts of western North America and north-eastern Asia. It is a migrant,spending the summer in the far north,and heading for warmer areas during the winter.
