Taurus. Artwork of the zodiacal constellation Taurus, representing a bull. The zodiac is the band in the sky through which the Sun appears to move. Stars are white dots, joined by white lines to make out the shape of a bull. The Sun is in Taurus roughly between the 20 April and 20 May each year. This is an Autumn constellation for observers in the Northern Hemisphere, and it is noteworthy for the bright star Aldebaran (below the bull's eye). Taurus lies between the constellations of Gemini and Aries (not seen). North is towards top left corner | |
