Niagara Falls. Water spray filling the air above Horseshoe Falls, the larger of the two main waterfalls at Niagara Falls. The cascades mark the border between Canada (right) and America (left). The Horseshoe Falls are 49 metres high and 790 metres long along the crest. About 5.5 million litres of water are carried over the Niagara Falls each second,of which about 90 percent flows over the Horseshoe Falls. The water erodes the falls by around 1.5 metres every year | |
