| Radiation survey of Bikini Atoll. Helicopter (lower centre) carrying out an aerial survey of Bikini Atoll,part of the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean. This atoll was the site of a number of above-ground nuclear weapons tests between 1946 and 1958. Tests ended following the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty in 1963.
