Grouper. Groupers (family Serranidae) are carnivores,feeding on smaller fish and crustaceans. Groupers hunt using an ambush technique. There are more than 100 species,found throughout tropical and subtropical waters. Size varies greatly; species can be between 10 centimetres and 4 metres in length.
