Missile flight test. F-15 Eagle aircraft releasing an anti-satellite (ASAT) missile, called ASM-135,during a test. This missile destroyed the Solwind P78-1 satellite on 13th September 1985. The satellite was in Earth orbit and being used in research on the Sun at the time of the impact.
