Stac an Fharaidh. Granite rocks on the lee-side (down ice) of a roche moutanee above a glacial trough. A roche mountanee is a rock hill shaped by a glacier. The hill has a smooth up-ice side and a rough, plucked cliff-girt surface on the down ice-side where glacier ice moving over the spur plucked blocks away. The lake at right is Loch Avon.
