Mount Damavand volcano,Iran,from the International Space Station. Mount Damavand is the highest peak in Iran at 5670 metres. The volcano is around 50 kilometres northeast of the Iranian capital Tehran,in the Alborz mountain range. The International Space Station orbits at an altitude of around 360 kilometres.
