Spiral galaxy NGC 1398. This isolated barred spiral galaxy has thin,tightly-wound spiral arms and a large,prominent nucleus. It lies around 65 million light years from Earth,in the constellation of Fornax. With a diameter of 135,000 light years,it is slightly larger than the Milky Way.
