An African elephant (Loxodonta africana) feeding on water plants in a waterhole on the Zambezi floodplains is accompanied by Cattle egrets (Bubulcus ibis) feeding on insects and frogs disturbed by the elephants' movement. Elephants,the world's largest and heaviest land animals are herbivores. Adult females and their young live in large social groups,whereas males lead largely solitary lives.
