Medieval Rotating Torture Chair. This torture device was use by the Spanish Inquisition to extract confessions and is a variation on the spiked torture chair. When rotated the rear crank handle turned the contra-rotating spiked wheels at the front. The victim would be locked to the seat with his or her hands tied above with chains.
