Methylcobalamin. Molecular model of the enzyme cofactor and vitamin methylcobalamin (C63.H91.Co.N13.O14.P). It is a cobalamin,a form of vitamin B12. Like all forms of this vitamin,it has an octahedral cobalt (III) centre (arrowed,lower centre). In medicine,it is used to treat conditions caused by vitamin B12 deficiency.
