MODEL RELEASED. Alex Cherney (born 1975),Australian amateur astronomer. Cherney spent six nights over an 18 month period photographing the night sky from a remote peninsula in Victoria,Australia. He chose nights with a new or crescent moon,to limit light interference. A two and a half minute time-lapse video of the southern Milky Way made from these photographs won Cherney the prestigious STARMUS astro-photography competition in 2011 | |
